Privacy Policy
Who handles your information
RR Home Improvements Ltd (registered in Scotland, company number SC855713), based in Hamilton, South Lanarkshire ML3 0EW, is the data controller for the information you submit through this website. For privacy enquiries email sales@rrhomeimprovements.com or call 01698 694055.
What we collect and why
When you request a consultation or save a garden-room or bathroom brief we collect your name, email, telephone number, postcode, service interest, selected dimensions, design preferences, optional message, marketing preference and enquiry source. A garden-room exterior snapshot may be saved securely with the brief. Your draft is stored in your current browser session so you can go back without losing choices. We use this to respond, arrange a consultation and prepare for a possible contract. Enquiry handling relies on taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and legitimate interests where applicable.
Optional marketing
Marketing is a separate, optional choice. The checkbox is not pre-ticked and you can enquire without subscribing. If you consent, you may withdraw at any time by contacting RR. No automated marketing is active in this phase.
Storage, access and sharing
Enquiries are stored in the website database and accessible to authorised founders. Hosting providers process data to operate the service. CRM, email and booking integrations are not active yet; this policy must be updated before they are enabled. Confirm all processors, locations and safeguards before launch.
Retention and your rights
We keep information only as long as needed for enquiry handling, legal obligations and legitimate business purposes, and review stored enquiries at least once a year. Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing. You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Analytics and cookies
Optional analytics is only enabled with your consent. No names, email addresses, message text or telephone numbers are intentionally sent in analytics events. See the Cookie Policy to manage your choice.
